SkinBright Premium Skin Brightener

Women today don’t have to let their faces give their age away. New products are created every day that give  dry skin new life, moisturize away wrinkles and signs of aging, calm sensitive skin , and even improve the appearance of rosacea.  The most effective professional products were once  exclusive to costly spa and salon facials. Now anyone can get professional results at home with regular use of some of these amazing products.

Glycolic  acid is one of the more recent leaps forward in skin care. It’s an ingredient found in all kinds of skin care products ranging from cleansers and washes to lotions and creams. It adds somewhat to the cost of many products, but pays for itself in anti-aging benefits. Glycolic acid, used over time, helps to gently exfoliate older skin, exposing younger and more vibrant cells. Fine lines and wrinkles disappear with the old skin and the new skin has a smoother more youthful appearance.

Vitamin C is another ingredient that is a modern gift to all skin types. Vitamin C has always been known for its powerful anti-oxidant properties. Ingesting vitamin C  through food and supplements is a commonly accepted way to protect the body  and maintain good health.  Now many skin care lines add Vitamin C to their lotions, creams and sunscreens, formulated  in a way that can be directly absorbed by the cells in our skin.  The skin is technically the largest organ in our body, and our first and best defense to toxins. Using Vitamin C in facial products, is the new best weapon in the battle against aging skin.

Natural Ingredients are showing up in a growing array of facial product. People with sensitive skin or rosacea  particularly benefit from products that are free of chemical additives and irritants. Some lines of facial creams, lotions and washes focus on the use of extracts that are plant based rather than chemically simulated. Green tea, mango, papaya and tea tree oil are a few examples of natural ingredients with proven skin care benefit. This can be important to those with sensitive skin as well as those sensitive to protecting our environment to chemical toxins.

For the oatmeal and cornmeal mask, use equal parts of cornmeal and oatmeal, and just enough warm tap water to turn into a paste.

A wonderfully sweet scrub to make as part of your relaxation gift basket to your favorite teacher (because you know they deserve it!) Recipe: 1-2/3 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. oil 1 tea bag (green tea leaves) 6-8 drops of cosmetic-grade soap fragrance, such as citrus, apple or verbena. Instructions: Green Tea Body Scrub The fresh, grassy scent of green tea is naturally stimulating and refreshing, and your skin will glow after you use this body scrub. The sugar in it contains glycolic acid, a natural exfoliant that leaves skin feeling soft and supple. Exfoliate during your bath or shower. Pick up the Green Tea Body Scrub with the tips of your wet fingers or pour about a tablespoon into the palm of your hand. Rub gentlynon your skin. Rinse with warm water, then cool water. Blot your skin dry with a soft towel. Use no more than once a week for best results.
